Electronic Spider

A monumental spider-like structure in steel and coloured plexiglass balancing between sculpture, architecture and machine. The installation creates a playful public space where light, movement and bodies interact.

Spider is conceived as a hybrid between sculpture and architecture. Standing on five slender steel legs, the structure lifts its body above the ground and creates a sheltered space beneath it where visitors can gather, dance or simply pass through.

The body combines aluminium elements and coloured plexiglass that interact with daylight and artificial lighting. From a distance the form appears both mechanical and animal-like, evoking an oversized insect that has landed in the landscape.

The project explores the meeting point between technology, imagination and public space. By combining industrial materials with a playful visual language, Spider transforms its surroundings into a temporary place for curiosity, movement and social interaction.
