Ian Diness is a collaborative practice working at the intersection of art, architecture and play. Through sculptural installations, spatial experiments and playground environments, the studio explores how form, material and narrative shape the way people move through and experience space.

The work often draws on figures from nature and mythology, translating them into contemporary structures that oscillate between sculpture, architecture and environment. Many projects invite physical engagement, to pass through, gather beneath or explore as part of a shared landscape.

Ian Diness is founded by artist Anton Ian Nielsen and architect Juliane Diness, combining artistic imagination with architectural thinking to create spatial works for public and cultural contexts.
